Sunday, March 2 – Tuesday, March 4
Led by Father David Sacha
Parochial Vicar, Basilica of Saint Adalbert
Join us for prayer and fellowship as we prepare our hearts for Lent and seek peace as Pilgrims of Hope during this Jubilee Year!
On Sunday, March 2, through Tuesday, March 4, we will host a Parish Mission in celebration of our 100th Anniversary and this Year of Jubilee, as we prepare our hearts for the Lenten season.
Fr. David Sacha, a young priest serving at the Basilica of St. Adalbert and the Chaplain at West Catholic High School, will be our guest speaker. He will take us on a journey of reflection and prayer, and as Tim Horst, our Director of Faith Formation, described, he is a young priest who is a polished speaker and wise beyond his years.
For those of you who may not be familiar with a Parish Mission, it is typically a series of 3 days set aside as a time of special grace when God calls us into a deeper relationship with Him. It is a time for personal growth and spiritual refreshment, intended to inspire and strengthen the faith of our entire parish community. Our last mission was held in 2017. You are encouraged to make the time to attend all or as much of the mission as possible.
We understand that it’s difficult to come with a family, but we also know the eternal value an event like this can have on the entire family. For those who may need it, we will provide childcare each night for toddlers to 6 year olds. Pre-registration for childcare at the link so that we have enough supervision.
It is our hope and prayer that our Parish Mission will be a watershed moment where your heart is moved to trust in Jesus more, to hope in Jesus more, and to find great peace in His Will for your life.
