Support those Impacted by Hurricane Melissa
Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), urges Catholics to pray for and support the people and communities impacted by Hurricane Melissa. The Category 5 hurricane made landfall in Jamaica on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025.
He said, “Let us stand in solidarity by supporting the efforts of organizations already on the ground such as Caritas Haiti, Caritas Cuba, and Caritas Antilles, as well as Catholic Relief Services, who are supplying essential, direct services and accompaniment to those in need.
Catholics and all people of good will can support the urgent and ongoing relief efforts, and long-term recovery work of Catholic Relief Services, the official international aid organization of the Catholic Church in the United States.”
Please give as generously as you are able. Thank you.

Mass of Healing, Recovery, and Renewal
Wednesday, November 26 at 7:00 pm Parish of the Holy Spirit, Grand Rapids, MI
The night before Thanksgiving is often known as the biggest bar night of the year. A time that can be especially heavy for those struggling with addiction and for families who carry that burden too.
This year, we’re offering a remedy: a Healing Mass dedicated to those suffering from addiction, those in recovery, and those who love someone battling addiction.
Whether you’re walking the road of sobriety, grieving a loved one, or need a space to pray and be held in God’s grace, you are welcome.
Come as you are. Come to be seen. Come to be healed.
