100th Anniversary Mass Save the Date

On Saturday, October 18, at the 5:00 pm, Mass we will be celebrating Saint Thomas the Apostle Parish and School’s 100th anniversary with Bishop Walkowiak. There will be festivities to follow. Watch the bulletin for more information closer to the scheduled event.

The Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (also the World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests) offers us the perfect opportunity to lift up our spiritual fathers in prayer. Join Bishop Walkowiak and the faithful of the diocese for a Holy Hour on the Vigil of the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus to pray for the sanctification of our priests.

Saint Francis Event
Pope Francis chose his name in honor of Saint Francis of Assisi and his beliefs. You can learn more about Saint Francis and why the Pope chose his name through a real life walk with the Saint. “St. Francis in the Garden” features Brian “Fox” Ellis in his portrayal of the Saint through stories and songs. Dressed as the sainted monk, Fox will embody Francis’s love of nature, his work for the poor, and his social mission of peace. This unique opportunity will take place on Tuesday, July 2 at 3 pm at the woodland setting of the Saint Francis Sculpture Garden on the west side of the campus of Marywood at 2023 E. Fulton. Enter off Fulton and park west of the Dominican Center. This real life history experience is free and open to all.
