St. Isidore Parish invites you to their Eucharistic Festival
Join the parish community of St. Isidore in Grand Rapids for a day devoted to celebrating the Real Presence in the Eucharist. The day begins at 7:45 am with Mass celebrated by Bishop Walkowiak. Sister Faustina Maria and Sister Lillian Emmanuel of the Sisters of the Children of Mary will present Revelations to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque. The day concludes with a video presentation of a talk given by Blessed Carlo Acutis’ mother. Please RSVP by Sept. 10 for planning purposes. Prepare spiritually and intellectually for this important election. This presentation is part of the 55 Plus Series, exploring spirituality and vitality in the second half of life.

Join us for the 10th annual Franciscan Rhythms Trail Run on October 5 from 9 am to noon at the Lowell Campus, 11650 Downes St. NE.  In addition to benefiting our Music Therapy program, we are expanding our fundraising effort to include restorative land projects at the Lowell Campus. Once registered you can save your seat on a bus! The Diocese of Grand Rapids has arranged round-trip bus transportation to the Michigan Catholic Women’s Conference. The cost is only $20 per person with morning hospitality provided on every bus by Our Lady of Consolation Education Foundation. 
There are three pick-up locations with prompt departure times:

Make Me an Instrument of Your Peace

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.

Where uncivil words prevail, show me how to model love. Help me remember the God-given dignity of all and invite others to do the same.
Show me how to build bridges and not walls and see first what unites us rather than how we diverge.

Let me seek to understand before asking to be understood. Give me a listening heart filled with empathy and compassion.
May I be clear in sharing my own position and respectful and civil in describing those of others.

Let me never tolerate hateful ideas.

May I invite all to charity and love.

Lord, help me to imitate your compassion and mercy.

Make me an instrument of your peace. Amen.
