Recycling Electronics

Did you know you can recycle your broken electronics (and any small appliance that has a plug) for FREE at the Wealthy Street Recycling and Administration Center (1045 Wealthy Street SW GR). The drop off center is adjacent to the KC Recycling and Education Center on Wealthy Street.  The hours are as follows:
Monday:  1:30-5:30 pm
Wednesday:  7:30-11:30 am
Thursday:  1:30-5:30 pm
2^nd Sat of the month:  8:30-11:30 am

 Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity?
Do you love being outdoors? Are you a student looking for service hours? The Saint Francis Sculpture Garden is an 11-acre site on Marywood’s campus with 17 bronze sculptures depicting Saint Francis at various times in his life. You can often find sculptor Mic Carlson planting, weeding, and beautifying the grounds along the sculpture trail. We are looking for hands-on help throughout the year to help maintain this wonderful space. If you would like to be on a contact list for upcoming work sessions, please email

Worldwide Marriage Encounter Experience – Let Your Marriage Bloom!
Let your marriage bloom this spring at a Worldwide Marriage Encounter Experience! Attend in-person April 12-14 at St. Francis Retreat Center-DeWitt, June 11-13 Maryville Retreat Center – Holly, or a Virtual Experience via Zoom scheduled to run for 7 sessions once a week on Thursday evenings beginning April 11 and concluding on May 23, 2024. • Singing thru the Eras – Come for an experiential series for adults that focuses on music of the decades of the 1900’s. Cost: $150

• Genres & Jammin’ – Children ages 6 – 12 will experience a
  variety of types of music, play instruments and create a music craft.  Cost: $150 

• Pioneer Days – Join Sister Mary Paul Moller, FSE as she leads children ages 8 – 12 in experiencing the activities of the early settlers: pan for gold, make soap, use a bow and arrow and more. Cost: $200. Go to www.lifeprocesscenter.org to learn more.
