Katie joined the Saint Thomas Parish Staff in 2026 after having worked in the Finance Department for the Diocese of Grand Rapids for 12 years.

She earned a bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University, double majoring in Accounting and Marketing, and later completed an MBA at Cornerstone University. While employed at the Diocese, she developed a strong foundation in campaign management, gift processing, and supporting the mission of the Church through sound accounting practices. She truly enjoys accounting and the structure and clarity it brings to organizations, especially in environments where responsible stewardship directly supports ministry and community impact.

Katie resides in Comstock Park with her husband, Jim, their daughter Charlotte, and a greyhound named, Wyatt. Outside of work, she runs a small fiber arts business, teach fiber arts classes, and stay actively involved with Charlotte in Girl Scouts. She’s grateful for the opportunity to serve at St. Thomas and looks forward to contributing both professionally and personally to its mission.
