At Saint Thomas, we invite and welcome new faces to our community. If you are interested in becoming a Saint Thomas parishioner, please complete the New Member Information Form and contact Margo Dean at 616-459-4662 or firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
After you have registered, plan on attending our New Member Welcome Reception on the second Sunday of every month. During these receptions, we meet in the lower level of the church after the 9am Sunday Mass at about 10am for coffee and donuts. This is a great opportunity to meet other parishioners and find out more about Saint Thomas parish and school. Children are welcome to attend these receptions as well.
If you have any questions about becoming a Saint Thomas parishioner, please contact Margo Dean. We look forward to meeting you!
If you are new to Saint Thomas and interested in volunteering with parish children and youth, you will be required to attend VIRTUS Training and have a background check. The Protecting God’s Children program (VIRTUS Training) educates and trains adults (clergy, religious, teachers, staff, volunteers, and parents) about the dangers of, warning signs of and ways to prevent abuse, the methods of properly reporting abuse suspicions, and responding to abuse allegations.
For a list of training times, go to www.virtusonline.org and select Registration and then View a list of sessions. If you have any questions about VIRTUS training and/or a background check, please call Pam Strobel, Parish Life Coordinator, at 459-4662 ext. 1203 or email@example.com.
